Mayor Soumini Jain visits Kochi biennale

visited the Kochi-Muziris Biennale at Aspinwall House, just before the curtains came down the fourth edition.

The international contemporary art exhibition, curated by artist Anita Dube, will close on March 28, with Adoor Gopalakrishnan as the chief guest at the function, and a performance by

Oorali

, which was one of the participating artistes at the biennale. The mayor will also be part of the closing ceremony, including other political figures, such as K V Thomas, K J Maxi and Hibi Eden, among others.

The biennale, this year, featured 95 artist’s works, across several venues in Fort Kochi and in Durbar Hall, and saw the steady flow of several internationally-renowned artists, curators, celebrities, actors, writers and politicians.
