National Award winner actor
Suraj Venjaramoodu was recently at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, in Thiruvananthapuram, for a noble cause. The Driving Licence actor was at the hospital to inaugurate a voluntary blood donation campaign, which was organised by the Kerala State Youth Welfare Board.
The campaign was launched due to the scarcity of blood availability at various blood banks due to the lockdown.
Sharing his delight to be part of a social cause, Suraj says, "I share my gratitude towards all the health workers, doctors and police official,s who have been working to fight Covid 19. Their efforts have made our state an ideal place to come back to, from other countries. I feel happy to be part of the blood donation campaign and request all youngsters to volunteer and donate for a good cause". The inaugural session also saw P Biju, Chairman of Kerala State Youth Welfare Board in attendance.
