A riot of colours and lively music

It was a colourful and memorable event as several bohurupis from

Bolpur

were present at a city art studio recently for the release of a single by singer Soma Das. Along with her, Joy Sarkar, who composed the music, and

Saikat Kundu

, who penned the lyrics, were also present.

The bohurupis, looking resplendent in their elaborate costumes and makeup, drew a crowd as they performed to the song. Soma, who lives in London, dedicated it to those probashis who love and respect their roots and celebrate their origin wherever they reside.
