A rooftop concert by city's young musicians

Chhader Panchali, a rooftop concert, that took place in the city recently saw several young, upcoming and already established bands in performance. Piya Chakraborty, wife of composer-singer Anupam Roy also sang at the event.

She crooned Amar Motey much to the delight of the audience. Pikai also presented the songs Phie Le Aya Dil and Majhi Re. Other bands that performed at the fun-filled concert were The Bagha Byne Company, Paridhi, The SNF, Backbenchers, Vagabonds India, Bandobees and Alo.

Apart from them, one of the highlights of the show was a tribute to Bangladesh featuring Kaustav, Bucha, Nabarun, Saurav, BUnty, Sunny and Pratick.

We also saw singers Swaralipi Dasgupta. Sonali Banerjee and Prashmita Paul in performance. They all rendered different Bengali hit numbers.
