Director Ahimanyu Mukherjee’s
Piya Re
is a romantic film that marks the return of Soham and Srabanti’s hit pair. The film had its press conference at a city five-star hotel on Monday, which had the cast and crew in attendance.
Srabanti, who looked gorgeous in a blush yellow gown, said, “This is a very special film for me as I have worked with Soham after
several years. The film shows a very passionate love story and everyone will be able to relate to it very much.”
The press conference was followed by a
monsoon adda, which had the theme of Kolkata street food. On offer were some iconic fast food of the city including piping hot bekti fish fry,
ghoti
gorom, jhal muri, bread pakoda and moong dal pakoda with bhanrer cha.
