A bunch of young musicians from the city paid tribute to
Bob Dylan at a south Kolkata restopub recently. The musical evening presented several popular and
not-so-famous numbers of the legendary musician. But it was not only about Dylan’s songs; many of the performers also sang their original compositions to pay homage to one of the greatest songwriters.
Hosted by Friday Nights Originals and band The Accidental Note, the evening showcased a few talented musicians including, Kyle Scott, Ayan Guha,
Bubbla
,
Adil Rashid, Surjo, Durjoy, Kaustuv and others. We also spotted singer
Paloma
Majumder enjoying at the do.
While talking about her love for independent music, she told us, “I have an emotional bonding with indie music. I use every opportunity to attend such shows. I will always continue to
be a part of indie music as well as mainstream film songs.”
