Three days of non-stop fun at this university fest post pandemic lull

Presidency University’s annual fest, Milieu 2022, saw the campus buzzing with several cultural shows and student activities for three consecutive days.

The fest, which concluded on Friday, saw performances by band

and Samantak, trailer launch of Srijit Mukherji’s upcoming film and music launch of director duo Shiboprasad Mukherjee-Nandita Roy’s latest film, among other events.

One of the highlights of the final day of the fest was a musical performance by the D-Trio featuring

Amyt Datta

, Anjan Dutt and Neel Dutt.

The crowd swayed to popular numbers like Ekhono Tai, Brishti,

Mary Ann

, Amar Janla, Chhiley Bondhu, Tania, Bela Bose, Blowing In the Wind, Shobai and others performed by the band.

Sharing his excitement of performing live after pandemic break, Neel said, “We performed live for the first time since the pandemic struck. Our last live performance was in March 2020 just before the national lockdown.

The music lovers and the students of the university made the experience absolutely magical. Presidency University has been special to all of us and performing at Milieu 2022 was super fun.”
