Asha Bhosle's 80th birthday celebration

When it’s Asha Bhosle celebrating her 80th birthday, the whole music industry wants to join in, like at the Mai concert that was held in association with Gitanjali to celebrate her birthday.
The singer is debuting as an actor in the movie Mai, the first look of which was unveiled at the event. Shardah Uniyal, Head – Marketing Gitanjali Group, Prashant Sharma, AMG Worldwide Entertainment Pvt.Ltd., and Subhash Dawar, Alliance Entertainment, joined Asha to launch an initiative to support the old and needy from the industry. Asha announced that she will hold concerts to raise funds. She thanked the audience for their love and said “Asha means hope. Mein sabke dilon ko asha hoon.” She regaled the audience with anecdotes before she took to the mike and cast her spell. Javed Ali, Chin2 Bhosle, Anu Malik, Lalit Sen, Shaan and Sapna Mukherjee were here too.
