It was celebrities galore at this SoBo event as
Jamnabai Narsee School
celebrated 50 years at a Worli auditorium.
To commemorate this special occasion, there was a lighting of the lamp by school trustees and hosts for the evening
Jairaj Thacker
and
Sujay Jairaj. Celebs present included Maniesh Paul, Poonam Dhillon,
Sharman Joshi, Sonali Bendre, Aaditya Thackeray, Nikhil Dwivedi, Anu Malik, Priti Jhangiani, Parvin Dabas, Ashok Hinduja, Asif Bhamla and many more.
The alumni such as Raveena Tandon and
Armaan Malik, reminisced about their school days and were delighted to be a part of the golden jubilee celebration, a huge educational milestone in this day and age.
To start the evening school students performed Indian classical dances. The highlight of the evening was renowned flautist Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia and percussionist
Taufiq Qureshi
, who mesmerised the audience with their live performance, ‘Utsav’.
Jamnabai Narsee School and Jamnabai Narsee International School cater to almost 5,000 students with a teaching and non-teaching staff strength of 700 across both curricula. The upgraded infrastructure provides a conducive environment that leads to brilliance in all areas of endeavour.
