In a question-answer session, the students asked several questions from the actor, who is best known for his successful TV shows like 'Ishqbaaz' and 'Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara'.

When asked if TV will suffer due to the rise of the web medium, Nakuul said, “I’ve always believed that TV can never fade away. There’s a large chunk of the Indian population that consumes TV content diligently and they feel very close to the shows they watch. Of course, the number of consumers of the digital content has risen, but that doesn’t mean TV will lose its relevance. It will always be around.”

The actor said he has taken a break from the small screen to explore other artistic faculties. “I took a break last year for my own creative satisfaction. I did a theatre workshop in Pondicherry, short for a short film, and am still reading more scripts. I don’t take on a project just for money or work security. I’m one of those artistes for whom creative

satisfaction

is of utmost priority. Hence I’m exploring different mediums.”

Nakuul, who is among those celebs who like to be vocal about the

country

’s current political scenario, also stressed about the importance of being aware. “I believe you all should read a lot of news articles to understand the country’s political

scenario

better, because it’s the youth that is driving the current revolution and it’s important for everyone to be aware,” he said.
