The Akshaya Patra Foundation, in association with a mall in Kurla organised the 4th edition of its biking event, ‘Outride Hunger Rally’ in Mumbai to create awareness about the need to eliminate classroom hunger across the nation. and Sundeep Talwar, Chief Marketing Officer, The Akshaya Patra Foundation at the Thane kitchen.

as the celebrity guest of honour. Enthusiastic bikers covered a distance of 22 kilometres, starting from the Akshaya Patra kitchen in Vasant Vihar, Thane, to Phoenix Paragon Plaza in Kurla. The bikers cruised through key areas of the city such as Varthak Nagar,

Eastern Express Highway

, Kapurwadi, Waghle Estates, Navpada & Kopri in Thane, Panthnagar, Shreyas Signal, and LBS Marg to reach the finishing point.

At the flagging off, Shri Amitasana Dasa said, “We are immensely grateful to these bikers who have come forward to support to our cause. Their support serves to inspire and encourage us in our fight against classroom hunger.”

Master Chef Sanjeev Kapoor expressed his delight to be a part of the event. “Community engagement is essential when it comes to social causes, especially when you are working to serve children—the future of the country. Through events like Outride Hunger, Akshaya Patra is trying to address the menace of hunger.”
