With a view to promote oneness, humanity and unity in diversity, followers of the spiritual movement - Sant Nirankari Mission - gathered at traffic Park recently where they formed a human chain and staged a nukkad naatak.
Those associated with the cause involved several youngsters including a few professionals as well. They made a human chain consisting of hundreds of people over a distance of over a km.

These people held placards with messages like, 'Religion unites, never divides, 'Majhaab nahi sikhata aapas main bair rakhna', etc. The nukkad nataak, which involved 20-25 youngsters, caught the attention of the travellers instantly, and many were seen stopping by to see it. Rakesh Jiwnani, a youngster, said, "I have been active with the mission since childhood as I too believe that more than caste, colour or creed, it is the humanity, which matters the most. I think everyone should abide by this mantra to make the world and especially our country a happy and peaceful place."
