Nashik witnessed a rally to mark National Sports Day

Various students, teachers and sportsperson took out a rally to mark the National Sports Day recently at Nashik. The day was celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of the famous hockey player Major

. The rally started from Swaminarayan School and ended at Panchvati Karanj.

Participants demonstrated

, badminton, skating and many other sports activities during the rally. Hockey teachers conducted hockey match on the occasion. Also during the rally participants were spreading awareness about traffic rules. They appealed bike riders to wear a helmet while riding. Students also spread the message about the environment with slogans written on placards.
