Kathak Sandhya organised by National Kathak Sansthan got lucky with the kathak performance falling on Guru Poornima.
Kumkum Dhar the known kathak exponent gushes, ���My disciple Rukmini Jaiswal will perform on Guru Vandana, and the best part is that today is Guru Poornima.��� Her joy was absolutely infectious that wrapped the air with joyousness.

The display of classical moves got a Mughal touch when the dancer Rukmini performed on a taraana to show the influence of Mughals. Her foot taps and ta thaiya made many connoisseurs applaud in praise.
Also present were PN Mathur as chief guest and Sarita Srivastava, Rajan Shukla, Anil Rastogi with his better half Dr Sudha.
