The least we can do now is maintain social distance: Ravi Kishan

Actor-politician Ravi Kishan is spending time with his family at home in Mumbai and strictly adhering to the

lockdown

rules. “Humanity is going through a tough phase owing to the coronavirus pandemic. And the least we can do to help our government control its spread is to maintain social distance and stay isolated. I’m also practicing

yoga

and other exercises to boost my immunity and stay fit,” he told us over phone.

Besides carrying out his official responsibilities from home, the actor is also finding time to read and have fun with his family. “We are staying together at one place after a long time. In the past few months, my daughter Riva Kishan and I were very busy with our professional lives. We had even planned a vacation but had to cancel it due to the lockdown. However, we are thankful to God that during such a critical time, all of us are together,” Ravi said, adding that he’s doing everything he can to serve those in need by sending them food and other essentials with help from the administration.

Requesting people to remain cautious and aware, he said, “People must not believe in rumours. Even those who are spreading rumours and fake news must realize that they are not only disturbing others, but also putting their own lives at risk. It’s an unprecedented crisis and all of us should act responsibly. For now, this is the only way to fight the deadly virus.”
