The day started with designer

Sanjeev Marwaah

presenting his collection L’effet, which displayed garments best suited for modern brides who do not want to stick to classic wedding colours when it comes to their outfits for the big day. Malaika Arora was the showstopper for the show. Sanjeev said, “I love working around Indian motifs and florals, but I like to contemporise them a little. The Indian feel of the outfits have been maintained in the collection.”

Nilesh Aggarwal's Essentials men's collection included a variety of shirts, trousers, tuxedos, suits, sherwanis, bandh galas and more, and saw actor Chirag Patil walking the ramp as a showstopper. “All these clothes are perfect for all occasions. You can wear them at weddings, parties or as daily wear. Sustainability and functionality are the USP of my collection," expressed Nilesh.

Debutant

Rinckee

Parakh's collection Roza was also showcased on Day 2. The collection had a contemporary-fusion theme and Rinckee said, "We used multiple drapes, falls, cuts and intricate handwork. This collection is designed in such a way that any woman can carry it well.”

Bimini, from RSR by Riti Rahul Shah was a collection that took inspiration from the paintings of

Federico Herrero

, a Costa Rican painter whose plunge into colours and the human mind brings about a revelation in contemporary art that is both perceptive and imaginative. About her desings, Riti said, “My designs are almost like colours talking to you. There are lots of loud colours and great shapes and patterns on the outfits."
