Heritage tour explores Pune's Pawana area

Around 18 people participated in a heritage tour arranged by

Destination Nature

as a part of the

Pune Heritage Festival

by Janwani which recently concluded.
The group visited three spots. The first being Pavna Dam where they explored the construction history as well as geographical importance of the dam. The second spot included 'Adhunik Urja' (modern energy) Park developed by one Mr. Pathak. There, the people had an opportunity to see experimental instruments which are useful generating energy from non conventional sources.

The final destination was pot holes in

Indrayani

river near Shelar wadi, Dehuroad. The participants could explore the types of rocks how these pot holes are formed were explored.
