The beauty of rich traditional jewelleries, ornaments and art of
Chhattisgarh
was showcased at the
Republic Day parade 2020 held at Rajpath in New Delhi.
The state’s tableau was based on the theme of indigenous jewellery and crafts reflected the artistic beauty of Chhattisgarh’s rich folk life and society. Along with this tableau, artistes from the remote tribal area of Narayanpur district will also give a mesmerising choreography performance of Kaksar folk dance of the tribal community of
Bastar
.
Earlier, chief minister Bhupesh Baghel while expressing his happiness over the approval of the state’s tableau to be displayed at Republic Day parade said that Chhattisgarh state’s culture will get a great opportunity to create its unique identity in front of hundreds of visitors from India and abroad.
