Rajesh Joshi, a BBA student, recently hosted a bonfire party that turned into a sleepover. “My hostel friends were heading to their respective hometowns for New Year vacation and a pre-get-together was a must for us. I asked them to put on their best pyjamas and come over for the bonfire night. Soulful conversations were the highlight of the night, and we got to really bond with each other.”
Faizan Khan, a college student, talks about the other perks of such parties. “At a rooftop barbeque party, we don't need to worry about driving back home from a particular venue while we're exhausted or even passing-out, for that matter. The hosts simply roll out extra mattresses and blankets in their hallways. Moreover, one need not worry about putting in extra hours to get ready. A simple sweater/jacket to keep you warm should suffice,” says Faizan.
