Youth Festival
commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda saw an enthusiastic start at Science College Ground. Governor Anusuiya Uikey and special guest, chief minister
Bhupesh Baghel lighted the lamps at the inauguration of the grand event. The fest had competitions of various rural games, folk dance, fine arts, and classical music will polish the rural

talent and promote the local culture. In his speech, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Umesh Patel stated over 7,000 youths will exhibit their talent in
Raipur
.
This includes sports and intelligence-based competitions besides cultural event. Olympic medalist and renowned professional boxer Vijender Singh also exhilarated the youths with his presence. Vijender also congratulated Chief Minister for constitution of Sports Authority in
Chhattisgarh
