Cultural fair, exhibition near Hundru Falls draws hundreds

A cultural fair was organised by the district administration in

Hundru Falls

on the occasion of ‘

Panchayati Raj Divas

.’ The event saw colourful performances by school children and an immunisation programme for the young kids of the village. The administration, which was accompanied by a central team, also informed the villagers about various schemes and policies along with providing 50 families with ration cards. The villagers also presented song and dance performances for the visiting team. An exhibition was also set up to educate the villagers about banking, LPG connections and immunisation among other things.
