‘National Road Safety Week’ observed in Ranchi

In an unique attempt to promote road

safety

in Ranchi, the traffic police and district administration is observing the 29th '

National Road Safety Week

’ in the capital. On Monday, the concluding day of the road safety week', riders without

helmets

were gifted helmets by the administration and were educated about the importance of traffic safety rules and helmet use. The drive also included street plays and counselling to educate pedestrians about road safety. The drive is underway at major points across Ranchi including

Firayalal

Chowk, Shahjanand Chowk, Church Complex and Rajendra Chowk.
