Brides of India walk the ramp in Varanasi

A bash with the theme of Brides of India was recently organised by Benaras Club to mark the recent festivals of Teej. The ladies came dressed as brides with some of them digging attires from their trousseau. We spotted the femme brigade dressed as Bengali, Punjabi, Kashmiri, Maharashtrian and UP brides.

The participants also sashayed on the ramp to compete for the title of coveted title of Teej Queen which was given to

. The event was also marked by performances. Shivani danced on the song Maiya Yashoda while

Dr Priya

performed on Radha Nachegi. Pari and Hema danced on the devotional song Achyutam Keshvam.
