and model Mehr Mahajan talks about how she felt when the lockdown was announced, "Like everyone around us, we were all quite scared when the lockdown was announced. Something as simple as buying groceries seemed so difficult then. It was very difficult to accept the fact that we just could not step out of our homes anymore. It was a confusing time for all of us. Having said that, I feel that the lockdown was a necessity. All of us were still quite unsure about the situation and that's why staying home was imperative. It has now been a year since the lockdown was announced and I feel that I am a lot more prepared to handle the situation. I have adjusted to the fact that we have to continue living with the

pandemic

for some time at least. We need to continue wearing a

mask

and follow all the proper measures. Staying positive is an absolute must now."
