On Monday, June 29, director Viral Shah took to his social media account to express his concerns over the latest rules imposed in the city to control the COVID-19 situation by Mumbai Police. Earlier today, his car was confiscated by Mumbai Police despite him showing them the authorised letter to travel in the city for work.

Sharing the picture of the letter, Viral Shah says, “@mumbaipolice your yesterday's post says, one is allowed to travel for work (office). My car and several other people's cars (going to work) have been impounded by

Goregaon police station

despite showing the letter. They are not giving any answers too. Please help. Rules are getting too confusing. #needmycarback #mumbaipolice #confused.”

Viral Shah is currently busy working on his upcoming projects. He has been travelling in the city to complete his dubbing sessions. Recently, he announced his third film with Malhar Thakar titled 'Aaj Na Samachar' on the occasion of Malhar’s birthday.
