and Hindi entertainment industry is in shock after it was reported that Amit Mistry passed away on Friday morning. The popular actor suffered a cardiac arrest and his untimely demise has left many people heartbroken. Mourning the demise of her 'Chor Bani Thangaat Kare', Bijal Joshi told ETimes, "Amit was a jolly person. That was the first time when we worked together and it was absolutely fun and crazy. He used to call me Toofani Chokri. I last spoke to him on his birthday and we were planning to catch up. May his soul rest in peace."

The 47-year-old actor passed away at his Andheri residence, where he lived with his mother. "He woke up, had his breakfast and even exercised before he suffered a cardiac arrest. He was absolutely fit and fine. Amit had no underlining medical condition. It's an absolutely shocking news," the actor's manager

Amit Mistry has to his credit, Gujarati hits like 'Bey Yaar' and 'Chor Bani Thangaat Kare'. While in Bollywood, he has featured in films like ‘Kya Kehna’, ‘Ek Chalis Ki Last Local’ and ‘Shor In The City’ to name a few.
