In Amdavad, IIM road remains my favorite khau galli: Tatsat Munshi
Gujarat is becoming more happening with each passing day, in terms of culture, art, lifestyle and food. We recently celebrated Gujarat today on May 1, and went through the changing nightlife of the city, but with a tinge of change. Food remains the essential part of the nightlife of our city. Getting together with your friends, cousins or family at the end of the day to spend good time is usually around the food joints.
As the craze of night eateries continues, the years-old khau gallis still remain a go-to place for the crowd.
IIM road has khau gallis which serve breakfast and late-night munching too. It is surrounded by university campuses which keep the street alive at night with youngsters. Aum Mangalam Singalem actor, Tatsat Munshi says, “I am a foodie, and I love exploring different places after I finish my rehearsals or shoot, and the khau-galli at the IIM road remains my favorite. I visit this place more often as it has so many options from basic OG combo like chaa and muska bun or have full meals like parathas and egg preparations that are available till late.” On asking what are the dishes he loves the most, he says “I have my personal favorites – Sai’s Dosa and Bobby’s Masala Bun, that I don’t miss when I am here. This area has come up with some new cafes that I am looking forward to exploring soon, which I’m sure will add more fun to the nightlife here.”
