After wrapping the shoot of
Kartavya Shah's film '53mu Paanu',
Jay Bhatt has been roped to play a pivotal role in 'Shubh Yatra' and the shooting of the film is currently taking place in Gujarat. ETimes contacted Jay and the excited actor shared some more details about the film and his role.
"'Shubh Yatra' is my first collaboration with national award-winning director
Manish Saini as the dialogue writer of the film. After wrapping up '53mu Pannu', I am playing an investigation officer in this film. Though the film is an official re-make, we have tried to adapt the narrative and its conversations in the context of Gujarat and its people. It's a satirical drama," shared Jay.
Furthermore, Jay revealed details about the star casts, "Malhar Thakar,
Hemin Trivedi
, Monal Gajjar, Magan Luhar are playing primary characters in the film while
Darshan Jariwala, Hitu Kanodia,
Sunil Vishrani are playing pivotal characters in the film," he divulged and signed off the conversation.
