won four awards, Deeksha Joshi won the Best Actress for Gujarati film Dhunki that also starred popular actor Pratik Gandhi. And the film found a new fan in cricketer Jaydev Unadkat, who recently posted on his social media page saying, “Dhunki” is such a beautiful picture..(much underrated somehow!) loved the story, screenplay and the subtleness with which you carried the role! So well deserved.. Congratulations Deeksha.”

The Gujarati film industry has been gaining popularity with films like Hellaro making a mark on the national stage by winning the National Award for Best Feature Film this year, and Reva winning the National Award for Best Gujarati Film.
