Jhinal Belani sports a busy work diary
From TV, films to web series, Jhinal Belani has explored various mediums. And currently, she is busy with the shoot of the D-Town flick '
Talking about the film, Jhinal shares, “I play a working professional who is looking at matrimonial prospects in 'Tari Sathe'.” She will be also seen in a film opposite Malhar Thakar in '
How has working in different mediums helped her? “It is good that I am getting a chance to explore different mediums. Working in films is comparatively relaxed vis-à-vis daily soaps. But the scale is much bigger in terms of budget, production values as well as treatment. But TV shows teach you how to push your limits as an actor because in a limited span of time, a lot of output is expected. Also, television gives one pan-India fame as this medium has massive reach,” says Jhinal who will also be doing a Gujarati film opposite Amit Mistry.
Talking about the new exciting phase of D-Town, Jhinal says, “I feel that it is an interesting phase for D-Town right now. Gujarati film industry is now gaining recognition as a vibrant regional film industry. I’m happy that the film industry is exploring new genres and newer narratives. As an actor, I’m really excited to be part of this journey as it helps me to push my creative boundaries. The best part is that the stories and genres are now striking a chord with the audiences.”
