Mishty Kadecha celebrates film’s Rs 100-crore milestone; Thanks fans, 'By God’s grace and your support'
Child actress Mishty Kadecha, who won hearts as Khushi in 'Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate', has shared an emotional note of gratitude with fans after the film achieved a landmark milestone in Gujarati cinema.
Playing the daughter of Laalo and Tulsi, portrayed by
Reeva Rachh and Karan Joshi ,Mishty became one of the audience favourites, and the young star is now thanking every moviegoer who supported the film.
Sharing a video on Instagram, she greeted viewers with folded hands and said with overwhelming joy, “Jai Shri Krishna, Jai Dwarkadish. I would like to share some very exciting news with you. Our movie, ‘Laalo’, is making a splash in the world with the support of the members. By the grace of God, with your support, it has crossed 100 crores and has become the first Gujarati movie to collect the highest gross. So, thank you so much for your love.”
A Rs 100-crore dream that seemed impossible in week one
What makes the celebration more special is the unbelievable journey the film has travelled. 'Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate' has now emerged as the first-ever Gujarati film to cross the Rs 100-crore mark. Yet the film began with anything but promise. Made on a modest budget of just Rs 50 lakh, it opened to only Rs 5 lakh at the box office on its first day when it released in Gujarat on October 10, 2025. The slow pace continued for weeks, with the film collecting Rs 40 lakh in week one, Rs 30 lakh in week two, and just Rs 80 lakh in week three.
Love from the audience turned the tide
The movie handles a devotional theme which will surely be relatable to the majority of the audiences, especially among the family. With the movie getting much love and recognition, 'Laalo' is surely a gem from the Gujarati film industry this year.
