'Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate' director Ankit Sakhiya says 'film is about reaching people, not box-office numbers' ahead of Hindi release

As 'Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate' gets ready for its Hindi release, director Ankit Sakhiya says he is calm and confident.In a recent interview when asked if he feels nervous, he gave a clear answer of “no nervousness '. The Gujarati version of the film has already crossed Rs 120 crore, but for him, numbers are not the main thing anymore. Sakhiya made it clear that the Hindi release is not about pressure or proving success again. He even added that someone “on Mars” could understand what the film is trying to say. For Sakhiya, this wider reach is what matters most now.The director also spoke about how the film’s success has changed the way the team looks at things. They never expected the film to grow so big. Now, they are no longer thinking about labels. “We’ve moved beyond hit-flop now. The film has already become a hit,” he said. What they want now is simple. “Our only aim is that people watch the film,” he added. He described the Hindi release as an open invitation. “Watch it, celebrate, talk about it,” he said.
