Malhar Thakar lends his voice in Raunaq Kamdar and Anjali Barot starrer 'Chabutro'

The teaser of the Gujarati film 'Chabutro' was released recently. The film that stars Raunaq Kamdar and Anjali Barot in lead roles is written and directed by Chanakya Patel. Interestingly, the film is shot extensively in the US and the teaser shows Raunaq Kamdar’s character Viraj Patel as an Amdavadi who is settled in the US. However, there is a surprise package in the teaser and that is Malhar Thakar's voice. Interestingly, the actor has lent his voice to the adorable dog Buddy who narrates the movie.

The film highlights a social issue of how the young generation aspired to settle abroad rather than explore and stick to their roots.

Moreover, the songs by Siddharth are fresh, contemporary and are something to look out for. The teaser includes the song 'Pardesi Malak' by singer Aditya Gadhvi and Siddharth Bhavsar. The film also features the famous garba song 'Moti Veraana' by Amit Trivedi feat. Osman Mir.
