Manasi Parekh celebrates National Award win with husband Parthiv Gohil: “What a year it’s been!”

National Award-winning actress Manasi Parekh recently had an emotional moment with her husband, renowned singer Parthiv Gohil, as she celebrated winning the Best Actress title at the National Awards. In the sweet social media post, Manasi confessed to the incredible year she has had and wrote, "National Awards, Jhamkudi, Rajadhiraj, and Rangilo re…. Actress Manasi was visibly emotion overcome as she received a prestigious National Award for outstanding performances in the much-acclaimed Gujarati film Kutch Express. The evening of October 8 at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi formed the proud moment when Actress shared the Best Actress title with the south actress Nithya Menen in Thiruchitrambalam.

Manasi spoke to ETimes in an exclusive interview, "I could not control my tears. Smt Droupadi Murmu Ji herself asked why she was crying? It was very poignant moment for me."


She also stressed the importance of the award by adding, "It is not an honor but an acknowledgment of the hard work done by everyone in making Kutch Express. For me, it's a blessing from the Devi during Navratri and a huge responsibility toward my Gujarati film industry."
