Mayur Chauhan shares the teaser of his upcoming true event film 'Machchhu'

The makers of

'Machchhu'

have unveiled the teaser of the much-anticipated film today. The teaser gives us a first-hand account of the true event of the devastating flood which resulted from the bursting of 'Machchu' dam on August 1979.

The dam was built near Rajkot on River 'Machchhu'. As per the Guinness book records the Morbi Dam was listed as the worst dam burst. Actor Mayur Chauhan who was last seen in 2017 in the film 'Karsandas Pay and Use' is seen playing a character named Vijay, who is a flood victim.

The actor took to his Instagram handle to share the trailer and captioned, "ડુંગર પર ક્યારેક શાંત રહેતી હતી
નદી ત્યાંથી ખળખળ વહેતી હતી
વહેતી વખતે જાણે કંઈ કહેતી હતી
સહનશક્તિ જ્યારે માઝા મુકી ગઈ
આત્મશક્તિ એ સૌને બતાવતી ગઈ
એ ડેમને તોડીને એ આગળ વધી ગઈ
સંજય"

'Machchu' is directed by Shailesh Leuva, and is produced by Jatin Patel. It features Mayur Chauhan in a prominent role.
