Niilam Paanchal is thrilled to have Jyothika on board to play her character for the Bollywood remake of 'Vash'- Exclusive!

It goes without saying that Niilam Paanchal has impressed one and all with her interesting character in 'Vash'. Now, the film is making headlines for being recreated in Bollywood with stars such as Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan. According to reports, Niilam's character Beena will be reprised by South Indian actress Jyothika in the Hindi remake of the film. Therefore, ETimes reached out to Niilam to know her views.

"It is exciting to know that 'Vash' is happening in Hindi. Every project goes through a process, and that’s an exciting part, and so much depends on that process! I am keen to see how the 'Vash' remake in Hindi will be explored and interpreted. I wish the team and Jyotika the best for the film. Every character brings some magic to it, and I will be looking forward to seeing the magic Jyotika and every actor bring to their parts, which we know, but I am sure they will surprise the audience in a different and new way. I am also eager to see newly formed emotions that will be expressed for each character."

Talking about Jyothika playing her character Beena, Niilam expressed, "The mother’s character I played in 'Vash' is close to my heart, and something that is so close to me, will now be played by another reputed artist; it is always exciting to watch that artist’s articulation for that part. I am looking forward to seeing some untouched moments and nuances left unexplored. As we always learn in every process, actress Niilam added to the conversation."
