Ask him if he has played a similar role in the past and the Tu Chhe Ne actor says, “This role bears no resemblance to my previous screen outings and this fact has given me the opportunity to explore the character and the genre more. According to Shyam his character in the movie is layered and does not fall in the typical character having just a white or a black shade. “While prepping for the character of Shyam I researched on young businessmen and the way they look and their expressions. After a lot of research, I zeroed on one young achiever whose demeanor I thought would suit the character and then played around it.”
Shyam pumped up physically for the character and grew a beard to play the part. “My hair was trimmed shorter and I wore earrings to give a more complex look to my character. I also adapted a heavier tone while delivering the dialogues. The costume and the make-up department did their magic with the director and the director of photography,” adds Shyam.
