When Viraf Patel wanted to have 'Dal Ka Chilla' for breakfast in Kutch

Viraf Patel is causing quite a stir in Gujarati cinema with his upcoming debut film, 'Kutch Express.' The actor will play Madan and will share screen space with lead actress Manasi Parekh Gohil in the film. In an exclusive interview with ETimes, the actor, who is constantly making headlines, shared some fun memories from the sets of the film.

The actor recalled his best memories from the set of 'Kutch Express, he said' "I wanted to have 'Dal Ka Chilla' for breakfast, and folks from there never heard of it. After two hours of waiting for breakfast, finally I asked Viral to explain to the local team member what I wanted to have. After sometime of waiting, I finally went and said `` Arre! 'Dal No Pudlo'."

"Then the dish was made in their local kitchen within 10 mins. We can have different names for the same things but I think humanity feeds one thing, love, and respect," Viraf ends the interview on a happy note.

'Kutch Express,' directed by Viral Shah, will narrate the story of a family drama, with a twist when Manasi's onscreen husband Dharmesh Gohil is shown having an affair with an office colleague.

The film also stars Ratna Pathak Shah, Darsheel Safary, and to name a few. 'Kutch Express' is slated to hit the cinema on 6th January 2023.
