Raksha Bandhan celebrates the brother-sister relationship that is symbolized by the sacred 'Rakhi' that a sister ties on her brother’s wrist. The brother in return promises to protect her from all evils, and invariably gives her some gifts. As the festival will be celebrated on August 22 (Sunday). We reached out to Bhajan singer, Geeta Chauhan and she shared her Rakhi celebration plan.
"I celebrate the festival by spending quality time with family. This day emphasizes the importance of brotherhood and unity. I salute all the brothers who are always around during the tough situation and sacrifice for the happiness of their sisters and other family members," expresses in an exclusive chat with Etimes.
