After performing in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai, the 18th edition of

Ruhaniyat

– Sufi and Mystic Music Festival is all set to entertain Amdavadis at Vastrapur Amphitheatre on February 8 with its amazing line up of artistes.

We will get to witness an amazing line up ranging from

Tanoura

dancers from

Egypt

to collaboration between Russian and Rajasthani artistes from 7.15 pm. As the night advances, it’s only going to be a lot more fun.

“The major highlight of the

event

is the Tanoura dance performance where the artistes dressed in colourful skirts will swirl as they connect with the universal divine force ushering in peace and harmony. As part of our initiative ‘Where hearts connect’, two musicians from

Siberia

will collaborate with two Tibetan monks and artistes from Rajasthan,” said Harshada Kalekar, one of the organisers.

She said “Qawwals from the Hifzur Rehman Hakimi group will be performing along with Kashmiri Mystics – a group of Abdul Rashid Hafiz. The latter will present the Sufi kalam on a saint of Kashmir.”

Seems it’s going to be a

cultural

mélange as music transcends boundaries at this event in Ahmedabad.
