After the trailer for 'Kasoombo' received positive feedback, the creators released a new song called 'Lagna Geet'. It has lyrics by Jashwant Gangani, music by Mehul Surti, and is sung by Nisha Kapadia and Arvind Barot.
The song beautifully portrays the detailed traditions of a Gujarati wedding. It showcases the various ceremonies like the mehendi and sangeet, leading up to the emotional moment of the bride's 'vidaai'. The song features Shraddha Dangar as the bride and Raunaq Kamdar as the groom.
Talking about the plot of the film, its narrative takes us back to the 14th century, when the threat of Allauddin Khilji's invasion loomed over Shatrunjaya. It was then that Dadu Barot and his 51 brave warriors fought valiantly against thousands, setting the stage for the epic tale presented in this film.
'Kasoombo' not only unfolds the heroic saga of these warriors but also highlights their dedication to protecting temples and shrines.
Featuring stellar cast members such as Dharmendra Gohil, Darshan Pandya, Kalpana Gagdekar, Ragi Jani, Feroz Irani, Chetan Dhanani, Vishal Vaishya, Shaunak Vyas, Tatsat Munshi, and many other talented actors.
'Kasoombo', directed by Vijaygiri Bava, is set to hit theaters on February 16th.
