Akshay Kumar in the lead roles will end its run this week and finish at a little under Rs 186 crore after running for eight weeks. The film is the sequel to the 2010 hit film
Enthiran
(Robot), which starred Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai. '

' which hit the screens on 29th November has done very good business both in the national and worldwide collections. The film registered itself as the third highest grosser of 2018.

The film's plot revolves around Chitti (played by Rajinikanth), the once dismantled humanoid robot, and Pakshirajan (played by Akshay Kumar), an ornithologist who seeks vengeance on cell phone users to prevent bird population decline.
The S. Shankar directorial is also touted as the most expensive Indian film ever made, with a budget of over Rs 500 crore. '2.0' also stars
Amy Jackson. Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain, Kalabhavan Shajohn, and K. Ganesh in supporting roles.
