This Valentine's week, Bollywood treated the audience with not just one but two movies. On the one hand, Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor made it to the theatres with their rom-com drama ‘Loveyapa,’ and on the other hand, the musical artist turn-actor Himesh Reshammiya brought a masala parody action story ‘Badass Ravikumar.’ The first-day and second-day battles were won by ‘Badass Ravikummar,’ and despite a drop in the numbers post the opening day, the debut weekend total of the Himesh Reshammiya starrer outshined ‘Loveyapa.’
‘Badass Ravikumar’ is a spin-off of the 2014 film ‘The Xpose,’ which collected ₹2.75 crore at the box office on day 1, according to the Sacnilk report. Then with a dip of more than 27 percent, the movie on Saturday made ₹2 crore. Now as per the latest updates, the early estimates have shown that on Sunday the business has further seen a dip, as the collection of day 3 stands at ₹1.40 crore. This takes the net India collection of ‘Badass Ravikummar’ to ₹6.15 crore.
Badass Ravikumar Movie ReviewWhen compared to the numbers of ‘Loveyapa,’ then the rom-com which opened with only ₹1.15 crore, collected a total of ₹ 4.45 crore over the weekend haul.
