Badhaai Ho
’ at the domestic box office. The film directed by Amit Sharma, that features
Ayushmann Khurrana,
Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao and Sanya Malhotra in lead roles, earned Rs 1.05 crore on its sixth Friday.
The family-drama, that made its mark at the box office and in the record books, is looking to earn an all-time highest record on the sixth weekend and presumably even the sixth week as well. After adding another Rs 0.80 crore to its total, thus making it one of the highest week 5 grossers, Friday’s collection took commences week 6 on a high and took the overall collection to an impressive Rs 129.45 crore.
The film with its unconventional story about a middle-aged couple are expecting their third child, managed to draw in the masses and cross the Rs 200 crore mark at the worldwide box office.
With the audience still coming back for more, trade experts predict that the film might just cruise past Rs 135 crore or Rs 140 crore mark for its lifetime business.
