As per a report on Sacnilk, early estimates suggest that the film concluded its fifth week at the box office just shy of the Rs 20 crore mark, earning around Rs 19.37 crore. Meanwhile, the film’s gross total for the week stands at Rs 23.08 crore.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ made a splash at the box office upon its release on March 19. The film got off to a record-breaking start; however, it failed to maintain the pace. After a smashing first week, crossing the Rs 674.17 crore mark, the film dropped to Rs 263.65 crore in its second week. In its third week, it struggled to cross the Rs 110 crore mark and fell further the following week, earning just Rs 54.70 crore.

Thus far, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has achieved an estimated Rs 1,122.49 crore India net collection and a gross total of Rs 1,343.56 crore. With an estimated overseas haul of Rs 422.50 crore, the film’s total worldwide gross collections stand at approximately Rs 1,766.06 crore.

If the numbers by the film's production house hold true, then 'Dhurandhar 2' has beaten 'Baahubali 2' to become second highest earning Indian film of all time. As per data on Wikipedia, the SS Rajamouli film earned an estimated Rs 1,810 crore. It is now second to only Aamir Khan's 'Dangal', which earned an estimated 1,968 - 2,054 crore.

'Dhurandhar 2' enjoyed a solo run at the box office until it faced competition from the Akshay Kumar starrer 'Bhooth Bangla' in its fifth week. As per box office reports, while the horror comedy took the lead at the box office this week, both films recorded a notable dip in numbers. While 'Bhooth Bangla' collected just around Rs 5.15 crore on Thursday, 'Dhurandhar 2' earned an estimated Rs 1.40 crore. Meanwhile, the collections for the week saw the Akshay starrer earning Rs 84.05 crore while the Ranveer starrer earned an estimated Rs 19.37 crore.
