‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ box-office collection Day 5: Shah Rukh Khan-Anushka Sharma starrer rakes in Rs 3 crore on first Tuesday
After receiving mixed-reviews from critics and audiences alike, Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ clocked Rs 3 crore on day 5 of its box-office run, reports BoxofficeIndia.com.

The film which has amassed Rs 100 crore worldwide by Monday, grossed Rs 53.75 crore in the domestic market in five days of its run. The collections of the film have been dropping ever since day one. With opening day collections recorded at approximately Rs 15 crore, followed by collections of Rs 14.25 crore and Rs 14.75 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively, the Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer went past 50-crore mark at the domestic box office. The total for this film stands at Rs 53.75 crore.

While Shah Rukh, who worked with Imtiaz for the first time, on the other hand, sprung to his defence, "I have not seen Imtiaz Ali's previous work. I have always believed the film should go beyond the subject and create some magic. I also believe people come with preconceived notion that they have seen already," the 51-year old actor said.
‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ released on August 4, 2017, amidst much fanfare, as Anushka, SRK and Imtiaz left no stone unturned to promote their film. The marketing campaign of the film was lauded for its innovative techniques and the music, composed by Pritam, has been topping the charts all over.
