'Jolly LLB 3'box office collection day 4: The Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi film sees drop on Monday, inches towards Rs 60 crore
Akshay Kumar's 'Jolly LLB 3' released on Friday and had a decent opening day number. The film is as such that more than a bumper opening, it was expected to see growth through positive word of mouth and that has happened. It saw growth on Saturday and went slightly better on Sunday. The best part was that there was an organic growth on Saturday, by more than 50 per cent. As always, the Monday dip was expected but it has managed to remain in the Rs 5 crore range. One expects the film to remain the same all through the week. But with Navratri days and 'garba' nights taking over the country, the film may get affected as people may not prefer flocking much to cinemas. The film which also stars Arshad Warsi made Rs 12.5 crore on day 1. On Saturday, it made Rs 20 crore and on Sunday it made Rs 21 crore. On Monday, it was expected that the movie will see a drop. It made Rs 5.5 crore on day 4. The total collection of the movie after the first three days now stands at Rs 59 crore, according to Sacnilk. While the Mumbai circuit continues to underperform compared to others, according to Box Office India, the Saturday growth was more visible in the major centres there.
On the other hand, Delhi/UP and East Punjab circuits are delivering outstanding results. In fact, East Punjab has emerged as the biggest surprise, contributing a massive 13.5% share, which is an extraordinary figure in the present era. The farmer-related backdrop of the story is likely a strong connect, much like 'Jolly LLB 2' did in the past.

Do you think 'Jolly LLB 3' will maintain strong numbers on Monday?
The film appears well on its way to becoming a success. Such strong Saturday gains typically translate into a solid Monday hold, and with Sunday business trimmed by cricket, Monday should actually benefit. Interestingly, the current trajectory is drawing parallels with Sitaare Zameen Par, which also overperformed in the North. However, Jolly LLB 3 had a stronger opening in regions like UP, Rajasthan, and Bihar, though these markets showed comparatively softer growth.Day 1 [1st Friday] ₹ 12.5 Cr -Day 2 [1st Saturday] ₹ 20 CrDay 3 [1st Sunday] ₹ 21 CrDay 4 [1st Monday] ₹ 5.50 Cr * early estimates -Total ₹ 59.00 Cr
