Judwaa 2', which stars
Varun Dhawan in the lead along with
Jacqueline Fernandez and
Taapsee Pannu, has recorded the third highest second-day collections at the domestic box-office with an estimated total of Rs 20.25 crore, according to the latest report on Boxofindia.com.
The film was off to a smashing start with a collection of Rs 15.50 crore approximately on the first day of its release and thus becoming the fourth biggest Bollywood opener of the year, after ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’, ‘Tubelight’ and ‘Raees’. 'Judwaa 2' that is a reboot of the
Salman Khan 1997 hit film 'Judwaa' has recorded an estimated total collection of Rs 35.75 crore within the two days of its nationwide release.
The action-comedy which released on the final day of Navratri, ahead of the long Dussehra and Gandhi Jayanti weekend, is expected to see good growth at the box-office.

They are separated at birth by a smuggler, Charles (Zakir Hussain), who kidnaps Raja. The geek Prem grows up in the lap of luxury in London with his parents, the Malhotras; loud Raja finds shelter in a Mumbai's fisherman's colony. Of course, when the twins' paths cross, there's too much fun. The film also has the recreated versions of the original hit numbers ‘Chalti Hai Kya 9 Se 12’ and ‘Oonchi Hai Building 2.0’ which have been pepped up for this one. To top it all, Salman Khan also returns for the climax scene in his double role from the original.
Besides Varun in a double role, the film also stars Anupam Kher, Upasana Singh, Rajpal Yadav, Pavan Malhotra, Ali Asgar, Vivan Bhatena and Vikas Verma in important roles.
