'JugJugg Jeeyo' box office collection day 12: The Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani starrer collects Rs 1.65 crore on its second Tuesday

Raj Mehta’s ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ maintains its hold at the box office even in its second week. The film stars Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles.
According to a report in boxofficeIndia.com, the family drama collected Rs 1.65 crore on its second Tuesday, taking its overall collection to Rs 66.82 crore nett approximately. The report also added that the film will probably end the week with a little under 7 crore nett up on the board.

‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ will face competition in the coming weekend with ‘Thor: Love And Thunder’.However, it should still be able to put up better numbers on Saturday and Sunday. The film has reportedly grossed around Rs 20 crore nett in Mumbai and Rs 17 crore nett in Delhi / UP.

Recently, during a conversation with a news portal, Varun was asked which remake of Anil Kapoor starrer he would like to be a part of. While Varun took a few movie names, Anil also suggested a few. Later they both decided that they both should star together in the remake of ‘Deewana Mastana’ which incidentally was directed by none other than David Dhawan. The actors even said that they wouldn’t even need to ask the director about it. According to them, if he comes to know that they want to do it, he will give the go-ahead and make it.
The original ‘Deewana Mastana’ starred Anil Kapoor, Govinda and Juhi Chawla in lead roles. The film also had a cameo by none other than Salman Khan.
