'Kedarnath' box office collection day 7: The Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput starrer collects Rs 3 crore on Thursday

Director Abhishek Kapoor's romance-drama 'Kedarnath' featuring Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput, set against the backdrop of the disastrous 2013 Uttarakhand floods, is continuing its good run at the box office. The movie which marks the big Bollywood debut of Sara Ali Khan has been well received by the audience. The film which released on 7 December has done well in the first week.

Kedarnath

' has managed to collect Rs 3 crore on Thursday. The film collections held up pretty well during the weekdays. The movie has managed to collect a total of Rs 42 crore after the end of the first week.

The plot of the film revolves around the love story of a Hindu girl (Sara) and a Muslim boy (Sushant). The film is set against the backdrop of the devastating 2013 Uttarakhand floods. The film has been embroiled in controversies ranging from accusations of promoting love-jihad.

The film which marked the debut of Sara Ali Khan has surely given a wonderful start to her Bollywood career. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, 'Kedarnath' is produced by Ronnie Screwvala. The songs of the film are composed by Amit Trivedi and penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
